This Cookie Policy explains how Neotask, Inc. ("Neotask," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on neotask.ai and related websites. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics. Similar technologies include localStorage entries and tracking pixels; we use the word "cookies" to cover all of these.
2. Cookies We Use
a. Strictly Necessary
Required for the site and dashboard to function — session authentication, security (request signing, fraud prevention), and remembering your cookie-consent choice itself (stored in your browser as neotask_cookie_consent). These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
b. Analytics and regional choices
We use Google Analytics 4 and DataFast to understand public-site traffic, browser Sentry for minimized error reporting, and Intercom for support messaging. For a positively identified United States visitor, this privacy-minimized measurement may operate by default on public pages until you deny cookies. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and any unknown region, it requires explicit analytics consent and a current server-validated receipt. Advertising measurement is always separate: only when Neotask enables it and our server validates the exact current marketing-and-advertising consent receipt may Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, or Reddit Pixel and Reddit's Conversions API operate. We send only an approved public pathname, never a URL query string or fragment; campaign parameters are allowlisted only to permit the public landing page runtime. Browser replay, Google enhanced conversions, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled. GPC and DNT disable analytics and advertising measurement in every region.
Advertising Measurement Notice (Authoritative English)
Effective July 14, 2026
Only when Neotask enables advertising measurement and you separately provide exact marketing-and-advertising consent may Google Ads measurement, Meta Pixel and Meta's server-side Conversions API, or Reddit Pixel and Reddit's Conversions API v3 operate. Meta Platforms, Inc. may receive consented _fbp/_fbc browser identifiers, and Reddit, Inc. may receive the consented _rdt_uuid browser identifier. Each enabled provider may receive the origin and bounded path of an approved public page, ordinary browser IP address and User-Agent network metadata, a pseudonymous event reference, event type and time, and bounded purchase, trial, or subscription value and currency. Browser pixels may also receive the referring page information ordinarily exposed by the browser. Encrypted advertising attribution expires after 90 days and each provider's conversion outbox after 180 days; withdrawal cancels pending delivery and removes the encrypted identifier envelope. The Reddit server API token is held only in AWS SSM and is never sent to the browser. Google enhanced conversions, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled. These integrations are off by default, disabled in HIPAA mode, honor GPC and DNT, and do not receive chat content, agent content, license keys, or payment-card details from these integrations.
c. Support
If you open the in-product support messenger (Intercom), it sets cookies needed to keep your conversation history. These load when you use the messenger.
3. Your Choices
A cookie notice is shown on your first visit. Allow cookies turns on analytics and, where Neotask enables it, advertising measurement. Deny cookies turns both off, including the default United States analytics. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and unknown regions, both stay off until you allow cookies, and any grant is recorded durably against a pseudonymous browser session. GPC or DNT disables analytics and advertising measurement in every region. Declining never affects your ability to use the site or Service.
To change your choice, select Cookie settings in the site footer or Manage cookie settings on this page. A denial is recorded on our server, advertising runtimes are shut down, bounded analytics cookies expire, and the page reloads cleanly. GPC or DNT always takes precedence and disables both analytics and advertising measurement.
4. Websites We Generate for You
Websites that the product generates for Neotask customers may include Google Analytics configured by the customer. For those sites, the customer is the data controller — please consult that website's own cookie notice.
